Vice President

After taking a break for a couple of years the Harambee PTO is back, yay!!

As we are getting up and running again, we’d love your help.

We need more people active in the PTO to work together and share ideas. We want to grow and support our students, the teachers, and anyone connected to the school.

Some things that we have planned for this year include:

  • Book Fairs
  • Read A Thon
  • Coin Challenge
  • Helping with Family Events
  • Staff Appreciation Week

We have many ideas and hope to do more events, but we can’t do it without your help. Please consider joining us and please reach out if you have any questions.

What Does It Mean to Join the PTO?

It doesn’t cost anything to be a member of the PTO. If you sign up to be a member it just means we’ll reach out to you when we have volunteer needs.

Membership gives you a vote at the meetings when decisions are being made about what events to do and how to spend the money that we raise.

You do not have to attend meetings. Even if you don’t have time to volunteer in person, many things could be done from home.

2023-2024 PTO Meeting Schedule

Regular monthly meetings are held in the Harambee Media Center starting at 6 p.m. At this time, childcare is not provided, but we are researching that option.
